MICATO SAFARIS NAMED “WORLD’S BEST TOUR OPERATOR” BY TRAVEL+LEISURE

Luxury Safari Outfitter Tops the Charts For an Unprecedented Seven-Time Win in its Category

Micato Safaris has received the “World’s Best Tour Operator and Safari Outfitter” award from Travel + Leisure in its annual World’s Best Awards readers’ poll for an unprecedented seventh time in its category. The award, voted on annually by the readers of Travel+Leisure, is considered the gold standard of the travel industry.  This year, Micato received a score of 97.03 making it the top Tour Operator and Safari Outfitter. Micato has held this honor more times than any other tour operator or safari outfitter.

Micato’s Managing Director, Dennis Pinto, will accept the award at the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards ceremony on July 21 in New York City. The World’s Best Awards readers’ poll results are featured on www.travelandleisure.com/worldsbest and in the August issue of the magazine.

“We are honored to have again received this prestigious accolade,” said Pinto. “One win is an achievement, two wins may indicate a trend, but when you win something seven times, it is recognition of consistent excellence.”

“When we ask travellers why they rank Micato so highly year after year, the answer is always the same: we care, personally and deeply.  We’re not a huge conglomerate with dozens of international offices- we’re small, sincere and family-run, and we focus only on Africa and India, two regions we know intimately, because that’s where we’re from.  We strive to make our safaris exceed our guests wildest expectations and to provide tremendous value,” Pinto concluded.
